BlackVue DR650S-2CH IR was designed with professional drivers in mind. It monitors both the front and the interior of a vehicle, making it ideal for taxi or rideshare drivers. The front camera records the road ahead in Full HD, while the interior IR (infrared) camera captures every detail of the cabin, even in pitch-dark lighting conditions. This small and stealthy dash cam is black in color, which makes it even more discrete. It’s virtually invisible to anybody who is outside the car. As a dual dash cam, the DR650S-2CH has two lenses; one facing the road ahead and the other one facing backwards.
In case you are not interested in the rear camera you can replace it with an interior camera – the 2-channel, infrared version (2CH-IR). Rather than recording the road behind you, it monitors the inside of your vehicle (backseat all the way to the back window). This is a practical option for cab and taxi drivers, Uber and Lyft drivers as well, because you might need to keep an eye on your passengers while driving.
Note that you can only choose one between a rear and an interior camera; not both. If you opt to go with the rear lens your BlackVue DR650S-2CH will come with a longer cable that can reach the back window (even for long vehicles like mini-vans). But if you choose the 2CH-IR version you will get a shorter cable because both lenses will be on the same mount. The infrared lights used ensure that your get the clearest footage even when the inside of your car has low lighting.

Main Features
Full HD footage
The front camera of the DR650S-2CH IR has a standard resolution of 1080P while the rear camera records videos of 720P at 30 frames per second. Both of them deliver fantastic images that are sharp and clear.
Optimized view
It is possible to choose the field of view that you want. During installation, you can position the front and rear cameras to face any direction you wish. Ideally you want to position them such that they offer the best view of the road ahead and behind you. As for the interior camera, its ability to rotate through 1290 makes it even easier to customize its field of view.
GPS
