Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen (2015) user manual is needed when you just bought this sophisticated smart phone and you are about to use it for the first time ever. When you are unboxing the smart phone, removing the back cover of the smart phone, and then putting the SIM card and the SD card, you are ready to start up.
So, if you are ready to start, below is how to use your Motorola smart phone for the first time according to the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen (2015) user manual.
1. Turning on the Smart Phone
After you are ready, now you are about to turn the device for the first time ever. Take a look at the right side of the device and there will be to buttons. The shorter button is the power button. Press it and hold for at least five seconds to turn on the device. Once the device is turned on, there will be an option to choose the language that will be used in the device. If you use English, choose “English”. Then, press “start”. You will be taken to the next page in which you need to select Wi-Fi connection.
Make sure that you are in the area covered by Wi-Fi because you cannot access more if you do not have Wi-Fi around. Once your device is connected to Wi-Fi, Motorola will ask for several of your information to keep the device and all the apps up to date. Press “accept” and then press “continue”. It will take you to the next set up step which is the Gmail set up.
2. Google Account
After you press “continue”, there will be question whether or not you already have a Google account. As you know, to operate every Android smart phone, you will need a Google account. If you have already had a Google account, select “yes” and then enter your Gmail address and the password as well. Then, press “done” or “continue”. It will automatically restore everything and your new Motorola smart phone will have the same exact apps like your previous device.
However, if you do not have Gmail yet, you can create one by entering your name and then the address of the Gmail that you desire. You will then set up the password and then in few more steps you will be done. When the Gmail set up is done there will be “You’re all set…” notification on the screen. It means you are ready to use the smart phone.

3. The Rest of the Set Up
You can set everything up from the setting option inside the menu. You can change the ringtone of the device and message notifications from the “sound” option in the setting. If you want to adjust the brightness of the screen and change the wallpaper, go to “display” option. If you want to set up password to lock the device, go to “security” option.
